Im not sure if this question is considered advanced, if not please move it to the newb forum.

I just intsalled a fmic with custom piping i made out of mandrel bends. Everthing works fine and connects, but i forgot that the boost source for the profec b used to be on the old ic pipes (had the RRE install kit). Now i have no nipple on the IC pipes for a boost source. For now i have it T'ed of the BOV, along with the other vac line that goes to the profec unit in the car. I am wondering if this will cause a problem with boost control or anything else.

Also, for you that have made your own ic pipes, how did you make a boost source on them. Thanks

this is what im talking about

either one. They are both valid boost/vac sources. One thing to remember though, is the longer the lines, the more you will spike.

You probably originally had it hooked to the nipple on the turbo outlet.

I originally had it hooked up to the ic pipe (16g= no comp housing nipple). I guess this is fine, ill just trim up the lines. No problems yet.
