First off, Im sorry if this is in the wrong place. Ok, that said, I went to the local parts house and found a felpro head gasket for $33 tax included. I was thinking wow, and it has a 1 year warranty. Now I just had to try it. I took it home but havent opened it, yet. Im not quite ready for it yet. Now I just want to ask if any1 here has had good use for this, how much boost can it withstand?, How long can it withstand this pressure?, How warranted is the 1 yr warranty?, things like that. Also I ordered "Hastings"? ring set for $49 tax included! Am I looking for trouble by bargain hunting or have I found the ultimate buy? What do u guys think? All replies, yes even flames cause I need a good laugh, are welcome! Thanks ahead of time.

I have a friend that is using one but it's his daily driven 14b car on 15psi and he never had a problem. If your planing to run race gas and anything over 20psi i would opt for the OEM head gasket.

I plan on using one for now. Eventually I will swap it out and get some cams and get some porting done all at the same time. But for now its just good enough.

I used a topline head gasket for a while. I believe that if the head and block are true (flat) you should not have a problem as long as you don't run high boost.

alright now i've had 2 of these 33 dollar felpro gaskets. the first one went in around 1000 miles. but the first time the HG blew i never got the head shaved so the second time i did and it turns out it was warped pretty good becuz he had to take 14 thousandths off it but after that on my second felpro, i put 14k delivering pizza's on my gsx running 15 psi w/ a rewired pump and 2.5in exhaust and never had a problem at all and i'm an 18yr old kid i beat the crap out of the car the whole time so the gaskets get a :thumb: from me. just make sure you get you head checked and have them take a coupel thousandths off to be safe good luck !!!!

Blown headgaskets are caused from detonation, sometimes maybe the gasket. I use a felpro on my 90 laser running 21 psi and have had no problems. Thats even with the stock headbolts.

6 bolt can reuse the bolts but arp is reccomended.
