Hey guys we are swapping a 2G Auto tranny into a 1g. Got everything in (lots of grinding) and a kiggly adapter, 2g auto intermediate shaft, etc. Only problem is passenger side axle. We have tried a 2g axle, a Corida axle, 1g axle, everythign is to long. Is there any stock axle that will work?? please help

A Mirage axle won't work either. Can anyone verify that the front and rear motor mounts are different for a 1g auto

Even the 1g axle is too long? Seems like for all the time, money and effort you could of just paid someone to rebuild the 1g trans for you.

The auto and 5-speed axles are only within a few millimeters in length from each other. There pretty much interchangable. The 2g pass side auto axle is significantly different in length.
