auto motor mount inserts help

few questions.... can I use the manual motor mount inserts in the auto? I know u can't for the trans mount. also, where can i buy a auto trans mount insert? I'm in need badly. thanks guys

You can run the manual inserts for the front and rear mounts, which is what I have. But if your mounts are in bad shape you should replace the bushings or the mounts themselves instead of throwing inserts over them.

Check the supporting vendors to find out where to buy them.

oh the inserts don't replace the inner part of the damaged mounts? I guess Im misinformed.

Inserts go on the outsides of the rubber part, if you want to replace them then get the bushings that press in. I'm pretty sure the manual ones work but you should do a search to confirm it.

The ployurethane mount kits are the same for M/T and A/T 2Gs.

For the roll stops, they offer a urethane iinseart that fit in aound the existing rubber. For the actual mounts, you remove the center and press in a replacement urethane section.

I'm about to buy the energy suspendsion urethane for 20 bucks but it says only for the bottom? what about the top and transmission mounts? sorry about all the questions, just going to bring it to a shop and want to make sure I have everything before I go there. I know they have a/t specific mounts which is why I'm asking questions

That Energy kit is just the roll stops. If you want to do all 4 points, then buy the Prothane kit. Prothane part number 13-1901 for red. Add "BL" to the end for black.

Also, the aluminum casting of the A/T tranny mount is different, but the urethane parts that install in the center are the same no matter which tranny type.
