Trans Lab Shift Kit Questions

I just got my TransLab shift kit. I was wondering, what exactly do you have to drill, and what for? The directions are hard to understand as to why you need to drill. Advice from anyone who has installed this before would be helpful

the directions are very easy to follow. just look at the pictures that are in the directions. simple as that. i would not short cut around the install at all.

I dont have any experience with that kit, but from knowing AT, Im sure drilling holes is allowing the fluid to flow faster in the valve body causing firmer shifts.

I did not drill mine, and it works fine. Check the instructions at www.plymouthlaser.com

Drill the holes. It's a piece of cake and much simpler than it sounds. The bits even come with it now; there's no reason not to.
