Hey guys in the process of replacing the engine in my car but i'm also worried about the tranny.
Here is the deal.
Before my motor blew it had zero power had a hard time revving up the motor, was acting like it was under heavy load it would build boost but would rev really slow almost thought it was a diesel semi haha.

Well right before it blew i took the car for a drive around the block i got the motor to rev up to oh 5 grand boost as building but the motor had no pull the motor was winding out like it should be flying but nothing felt like a clutch does when it's slipping. This is an auto tranny though.
The head gasket is out in the motor along with many other things so it's not making any compression or power.

Is there something wrong with the tranny or because the motor had no power the TC wasn't really hooking up or shifting the tranny.

man if they tranny is badi think i'll have to :barf:

Its hard to tell, you have alot of problems. I say, fix the engine and see if thats it. You may need a new trans. Sounds more like a engine problem though.
