I'm planning on buying a larger transmission cooler from IPT but I'm not sure what size would be appropriate. I'm planning on reaching 300-350 hp and adding a shift kit, end clutch kit, and high stall TC. I'll only be racing occasionally but i want to make sure I don't roast my trans.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks :)

Im sure John from IPT will tell you the same as IM going to say now. Measure the area where you want to mount it and buy the biggest cooler that will bolt into that spot. The cooler you can keep the trans fluid, the longer the tranny will last. I have the 18,000 GVW cooler installed by John himself and it was a perfect fit in the old sidemount location.

Sorry for this newbie question, but whats the best tranny cooler i can get for my car size and price? i pretty much want the basic im going for the 160 hp range. Is there any local shops that have it stock so i can easily jus take my car there or do i have to order it online? My transmission acts funny shifts wierd after driving hard for awhile and i think its cause of the heat..hopefully .. i jus had it flushed last month. oo i have a 90 eclipse 2.0 auto. thanks a lot for your time
