Tranny rebuilt, what to put in ?

Ok guys , my tranny is crapped now and im getting it rebuilded by a friend shop, he's getting me a good deal 1700$ CDN for a complete rebuilt. The thing i want to know is , will the stock internal hold for a long time?

My question is other that a Converter and a shift kit(wich im getting with the rebuilt) Do i need anything else to make my tranny more reliable?

Pulled the code this afternoon and got 2 code:

21-Open-circuited kickdown servo
52- Second gear incorrect ratio

So anyone knows what these mean??
