alright i have a 1991 eclipse automatic non-turbo. my car is stuck in 3rd(fail safe) i added transmission fluid to it and now it goes in first for about a second now and then goes back into fail safe mode. i read the codes and i got code 11 on plymouthlaser.com (exessive throttle position output) But in the atsg km175 book for 1989 vehicles it says for code 11 microprocessor malfunction (which mean bad tcu) i checked the tps and it checks ok it had 4.67 kohms which is ok and when the accelerator test was performed it went to about .60 kohms
my question is am i doing something wrong which one is it. i got the tcu off of ebay and i dont know if it works but its the same numbers
