A few months ago I picked up a set of Sparco Fighter seats. Shortly after getting them home I realized that the stock seat belts were no longer going to work. So I began looking for a harness bar. I quickly realized that the only people who manufactured harness bars for our cars were NRG or TDA motorsports, which is an Ebay company. I did some research on it before I bought it. I chose to go with the red to match the seats. After about a week and a halfs time the bar finally showed up. I had it shipped to my shop, but UPS messed up twice and showed up 3 hours after we close. I had to drive about 20 minutes away to go to UPS head quarters to pick it up. Apparently TDA didnt get the memo saying that I was a shop open from 7-430 and need to recieve it within that time frame. Not at 730 at night. Anyways I started to install it in my car and had to use the upper part of the seat belt mounts, permanetly removing the side window panels. This was the only way the bar would fit. It took about one hour to finally get it to work and with a little finesse it fit like a glove. I had no problem installing the support bars. Its even at the correct angle for the belts. I do recomend this bar, I mean you really cant beat it for $160 shipped. The hardware they supply with it does fit the threads on our cars also. It does however eliminate use of the back seats which is fine with me because the Sparcos dont recline anyways. Heres some pics of it installed. (note: the seat brackets are not installed yet, they are on back order)
