93 Laser AWD
I purchased the downpipe, testpipe, and cat-back system from Mach-v motorsports called the, "Buschur Racing Exhaust"
As far as overall quality: C
As far as being a "Bolt-on" application: D
The system comes looking nice, nothing too special, just some pipe and a shiny muffler. All mounting hard ware included, but upon further installation you need to re-do everything! The welds looked very strong, and so far no leaks after 500 miles. If you want the system to fit like it should, be prepared to do some modifications. If I would have bolted on the system, nothing would have fit right. The mounting brackets were WAY OFF for the entire system.
downpipe: The downpipe rested against the differential and had to be bent away.
testpipe: Very poor quality, actually had to reweld one end.
Cat-back: it looked good, and sounds good, but must be modified for correct install.
After rewelding the brackets on in the CORRECT position, everything fit alright. But if you like your bumper, more modifications have to be made. The muffler tip pushes up againt the bottom of the bumper. To correct this i made a longer bracket and welded it to the muffler. The shiny muffler did not last long, after the first 100 miles it started to get signs of rust.
For the money paid for this system, i was disappointed. No mandrel bends, and the pieces did not fit together as well as they claim on the website. I think you would be better off making your own system.
Also this system is incredibly loud!! as soon as boost hits this system screams.
1 positive, this is a free flowing system and did help spool significantly.
