How to upgrade your 2g wiper squirters - OEM

This guide will tell you how to upgrade your wiper squirters with newer Mitsubishi models that atomize much better!

This is by no means terribly difficult. The reasons I did it were because my original squirters were clogged with wax and kept popping up off the hood. When they did work the two thick sprays wouldn't clean the windshield very well and made my wiper blades screach.

Total cost: Roughly $10

Step 1:
1. Go to your local Mitsubishi/Chrystler/Dodge dealer and pick up Mitsu part #s (pictured below):
MR322201 and
MR322202
(You need to make sure you get these because your stock ones were both the same with a 90 degree elbow that could turn, the elbow on these is solid plastic)
2. Remove your original squirters. You do this by pushing the piece of plastic that sticks out on the bottom and points toward the front of your car. The squirter should then lift right off your hood.
3. Guide the new squirter in with its hose, and attach this hose to the lines that already exist.

Simple as that, now enjoy a fine mist across your whole windshield as you wipe!
