How to install indiglo gauges

New to the site... this is my first post :) ... just installed these about a week ago.. here ya go

First remove the bezel in the dash cluster (2 screws)

remove the gauge cluster from the dash (there are 4 screws, easy to find!)

remove the plastic clear covering, very easy to remove

remove the plastic black covering, easy to remove, if having problems, be sure to try to bottom notch in the middle, that was giving me hasle...

after all of that you're ready to install the gauges, for my install I did not remove the needles, so you don't have to, I would suggest not to because it may mess something up

-the 2 big gauges were very easy to install... I would suggest to use some double sided tape just to make sure the gauges don't move around
next I started with the gas and temp gauge (bottom right gauges), there was a problem with where the power notch was for the gauges, so I had to use a dremmel and cut some down so that the notch would fold down in the the cluster (otherwise it would of covered over the panel! would of looked really bad!)

be sure to unscrew the 3 screws that you can reach (the 4th one, i just cut the plastic on my indiglo gauges so it wouldn't have to fit over the screw, it would stick up over it then, so I just cut that plastic around it off and that's where the double sided tape does it's job!)
it's kind of a pain to get the indiglo gauge on there, you have to be careful not to break the needles, but they're pretty strong!!
then it fit perfectly!

after that was done i had to do the last set, the boost and oil pressure gauge. I ran into the same problem with the power notch thing, so I had to dremel that too, also, you have to dremel some of the plastic under the gauge so that the notch will fit properly.

now you're all set to make the holes for the wires to come out of. Just use a dremel or razor blade and cut the back vents out, I had to make 3 holes, the 2 gauges on the right came out of the same hole.

BE SURE THAT ALL GAUGES ARE FLOWING FREE (the gas gauge is the only one that shouldn't be flowing free)!!! I had to take everything apart and trim plastic off the gas gauge so the plastic wouldn't stop it :(

now start putting everything back together!
for the ground wire, I just used one of the screws right inside the dash, you can use whatever to ground it to.
Now, for a very easy power source, i used the gauge cluster itself! I used one of the light bulbs, it will still work, but you're not going to see the light anyways, it took me a little bit, but I found 1 that worked when you turned your parking lights on/headlights on...

I noticed that when taking out the gauges there was a big enough hole to stuff the transformer and the switch/density switch into, so I turned the density of the light to max and put it on blue (on mine you can switch between blue and green). It's best that you stuff all the wires in after you put the gauge cluster back in, I was having troubles when I was trying to stuff all the wires in first, they were getting in the way of the plugs on the back.

here's a pic of the install...
DAY

NIGHT

install took me about 2 1/2 hours, I was talking on the phone a few times, so I'de imagine someone would be able to get this done in 1 1/2 - 2hrs. From a hard scale 1-5, I'de rate this a 3, it's not that hard to do, just time consuming and you have to know a little bit about electronics (hooking up power/ground to the right places)
With this install guide a beginner should have no problem!!
