lighter adapter

ok, for some reason my old lighter adapter decided to fall apart so I have to install a new one, i went to autozone and got me a 3$ replacement but all i need to know now is how to remove the console area so i can get inside to install it. thanks.

The funny little "accordian" cover is an inverted U. Lift out on a side, and it'll lift off. There are.... 3? screws under it. Maybe just 2.

Pull out whatever's in the console, and there are a couple of screws in the floor of it.

Unscrew the shift knob.

When you're loose, it lifts right up.
