Minneapolis,
tails that look like supra tails? (white, red, red, amber) and can u change the bulb in the oem foglights? because those are yellow.

he's only 15...that's what public education in the US has come to...

:p

just kidding...i believe he's asking if anyone has/or has seen supra lights on a dsm, and if the foglights can be changed, since they are yellow in color (ie-changing the bulbs to a white or blue hue). if that is the case, then YES and YES...

I believe that he's asking are there any stock shaped tallights that have seperate "bulbs" similar to the supra taillights. Kind of like the altezza's except with supra style coloring. Correct me if I'm wrong...

thank you stock1g4g63 and soloNT. do any vendors sell those, stock shape tail lights with bulbs that look like the supras?

not for our cars, maybe for supras though

Is this what you're talking about? It seems like this would be an easier project than actually doing the full supra taillight conversion. I wouldn't do this personally, but it doesn't look all that bad.

yea that looks pretty nice. yea that was what i was talkin bout. but those are actually supra tails, correct me if im wrong. yall know the need for speed underground game, i saw the intro video when i first got the game n they looked nice. so thats how i got my idea.

im oblivious as to wtf your talkin about. u say bulbs?? do u mean just buy little reflective cirles like that and arrange them in the pattern of a supra, and put them in ur stock tails?

i guess. could you do that? i dont know much about lighting.

Well, to answer your question, I've never seen anything like what you're asking for. That simplified conversion in the picture i posted is the closest you're going to get without doing a full supra taillight conversion. Also, not to be mean but NFS:Underground is just a game, if you're going to start looking for stuff you saw in it, it probably means you've been playing a little too much, It's almost as bad as looking for stuff from the Fast and Furious movies.

i just wanted to know if any vendors or any type of manufatcuer makes stock shape lights that has the color arrangements of a stock supra. since people say there arent any, im just going to keep them stock (when i get the car, maybe take out the eclipse sign). and about the game and fast n furious stuff, i know more then you guys think.

Man i seen a nissan skyline kit. but not a supra it was on extremedimensions.com or maybe it was a supra but i do know it was for the 2g. personally i think you should stay with stock tails,

I say modify the tail to differentiate yourself from the stock clunkers around town if customizing is your thing. I'm not sure that supra style lenses in stock tail lights would look good because the overall shape would be way off.

I've seen 2 or 3 versions of that car in the pic, and really like what the guy did with it each time. I think that's the one with the silvia headlights. I work in Japan and those new silvias look real nice around town --love the headlights.

Back to the supra tail...I've never seen any aftermarket conversion kit sold and I'd imagine if there was one, it'd be popular enough that it wouldn't be hard to find.

If it's half price, there is no way it is a legit Abflug kit. The company only builds them to order, and it costs about $1000 just to ship it to the US. It's cheaper to buy it in Japan direct and ship yourself. Maybe find it for half price at Ebay from someone who couldnt afford to have it installed.

I understand what he's talking about now. In Need For Speed UG, those taillights are on the white Eclipse. They are just the normal altezza's that everyone has, but with amber turn signal lenses, instead of being red.
Flash

Just now was surfing importfan, and found this rear bumper that will house supra lights:

http://www.importfan.com/product.asp?0=0&1=0&3=4292

I don't like how the rear extends so deep on the sides with that empty gap in the center. But this would save you a look of cutting and filling on a stock bumper.

Btw...you'd need to get the rear wide fenders as well to make it look right, which then means you'll need the side skirts and front wide fenders too. Oh, and you'll need the matching trunk lid that has a "duck bill" curvature to it which would be tough getting any wing to fit. You're better off trading in for a 95 supra.

ROW

That trunk is not meant to have any wing. When you see the full kit installed, you'll see what I mean. The rear curves out similar to the ABFlug kit. You won't need a wing.

Right. But if it was me, I'd definately want a wing of some sort. Guess it's a trade-off with that rear. The Jade Motorsports car in the pic someone posted above has a wing and I wouldn't want to give that up. The importfan bumper is just an option.

ROW

To each his own I guess. I actually like the wingless look. I shaved my stock wing off almost as soon as I got the car. It makes it look more aggressive to me. Oh well, i guess that's it for this thread.:dsm:
