Do these lights just pop out or are they secured in with a bolt of some sort? Will a screwdriver do the job as to removing them?

^ ^ ^ There's a spring clip on the front, and a hook at the rear. Cover a screwdriver with a rag, put it at the rear edge of the light and pry it forward. Or, reach up inside the fender past the wheel and push toward the front of the car on the back of the bulb housing. The hook's only about 1/16th deep, so it doesn't take much.
