i have been searchig for about 30 minutes. cant find crap except arguments about which gauge type is better, mech or elec. other info i have found about gauge installs is great, cept i had one heck of a time getting the wires up through the side of the dash, not your fault by all means.
i need to know where an easy to access constant power wire is that is powered while the engine is cranking. reason being, just in case you dont know, the gauge has an auto calibration, once it gets power, it zeros out. if the power is cut during cranking, it will zero on whatever the vaccum(sp) is when the power is returned ie. when the car starts. then the gauge will read wrong until the next calibration, which will be wrong again. thanks everyone!
