ok i purchased the brightstar 5000k hid kit. everything is plug and play for my 9006 low beams. I have connected everything correctly but the hids do not come on. i even switched around bulbs, ballasts and igniters to rule out a faulty one, and still nothing. In the process of doing this i have drained my battery and had me and my friend had to jump my car. i should not have to do anything else correct? any wires or relays?? i have contacted the company twice, but they arent of much help since no one has done it on an eclipse before.

come on guys i know uve installed hid plug and plays on here. it tells me in the directions to up the amps to a 20a fuse they supply me with a reg yellow 20a. however all i see are the big black ones under my hood for headlights. nothing under the dash for headlights either. do i need to purchase a relay kit? any help would be greatful.
thanks,
chris

Maybe you should try rewiring it. I know that HID's require quite a good amount of power to ignite, so maybe your stock wires aren't good enough? In collaboration with larger gauge wires, if you rewire it, take the power directly from the batt. as well. Hope that helps a bit with something. Good luck
