dash speakers 2g infinity system: what exact size and brands

I really need to know what the exact size to replace the dash speakers in a 2g infiity system. I went to crutchfield and ordered what they told me to and the speakers that came were the right size they recomended but dwarfed the stockers. I currently am running blaupunkt 6*9 in the back 61/2 in the door and 3 1/2 in a custom location about where yours and the passengers shins are, agian all speakers are blaupunkt.

Im not looking for something speacial just something that works well and fits like stock, my question is what size do I need and what brands have you guys used?

Aight, heres the deal. in the 2G w/ infinity system, there are 4" tweeters. But it is hard to find ones to fit it well....if you want to keep speakers there and don't want to go with a smaller size then leave those. they are good quality.

yes Im talking about the "tweeters" the small speakers in the dash. Im going to check ttonight if they work But I doubt they do. I guess I can try crutchfield again.

My right side dash speaker in my eclipse is blown out (well, not blown totally, but sounds like crap compared to the left one).

Do you have to remove the entire dash to get these things out?

they will be the easiest speaker job youll ever do. Take a rag and flat tip and lightly pry up where the grill meets the dash and the connectors will come right off. It should take a monkey 5 mins to rip out and install these so you should be done in MUCH less. Good luck

He is right. I had to strip a talon tsi and it was just that easy. good luck.
