I was wondering what everyone thought about putting body kits on the 1gs? I have a 91gst and was thinking about putting a drift kit on it.

a lot of people are going to tell you that they think there "ricey" or "ghey"

IMO i love em, if done right. If you don't paint it because you have no money...don't get it, save up so that you can do both at the same time. Also don't make it look bad, if you look at most of the drift kits on here on the 1G's they look nice...i wouldn't mind having a 1Ga with Drift.

The 1Gb's are a lil wierd for me, but if its Turbo its all good ;)

I like them when they are done right. I myself own a 91 tsi awd with a full bodykit, lowered on 17's....I personally think that you should go with what you want reguardless of what people say.If I would've listen to people I would've never made the car look like what it looks like now. So be honest to yourself and follow your feelings because you are paying for it.NO ONE ELSE!!!!!!

I believe the body kits make the cars look alot different. You may want to check out www.extremedimensions.com . IMO the dragon front bumper looks good with the drift rear bumper and side skirts. Put some 17's or 18's and a slight drop it would look bad ass.
