haha hes got that crappy venom manifold.

He hasent finished the build yet, the front mount is a greddy Big fmic, and the ic piping is 3". OMG The front bumper cover is the vealside racing. And as for the intake mani being crap, what gives you that idea. i would assume that you must be using something far more supurior for car right:D . Anyway trying to finsh the fuel lines (braided all the way) pain in the ass to hook to aem fittings. then the wiring for the crank angle and cam angle sensors. like i said b4 got losts to do but its all for the love. kind of makes me wish i bought another dsm. later. billy

just search for information about that intake manifold.

braided fuel lines seem silly, but ok.

in order to fill 3" of intake piping he'd better have a monster turbo.

i agree on intake manifold, i'd have a magnus or forrester before that one.

braided lines are a good idea, you can definitely move more volume at a given pressure through bigger lines.

Well everyone has an option on whats the best, but time slips are the only proof we care about. anyway, Why 3" , because he is running 1000cc buscher injectors with t4 60 trim, and 100 shot nos. so 3" will work just fine for the amount of air he will be pushing. Dont know anything about the other two manis. but this one will do the job. besides he got it 400.00 NEW last year. some more info: tail 40mm racegate o2 mounted and trying to learn how to use the AEM stand alone LOL. he doesnt even know how to use a computer j/k. Thanx for all the imput and comments. Billy

injector size has nothing to do with ic piping size. 3" ic piping is over kill for a t4 60trim.

im assuming his motor is built. t4 60trim is a silly choice for a stock 7bolt.

if the intake manifold was 10 dollars, it doesnt matter. that doesnt make it better.

GOOD F'ING LUCK WITH THE AEM. ive heard nightmares from many people. its far from user friendly.

One more thing:

1000CC injector's huh.? That's an awful lot of fuel to be utilzing. I guess he will be pushing a lot of boost then right?

Well in that case, I will point you to this link since no one else has. :D

Read up about the venom manifold, the thread is actually quite amusing.

Nice engine bay by the way. :thumb:

thanx for the link, I guess we will see how it does when all is said and done. Test it, love it, use it, or Test it, hate it, sell it:D . to turboawd thanx for all the assuming and knowage you bring to board. Just wondering what your car looks like? post up a pic plz. and yes it is fully build head to toe, might not be as nice as yours but im sure he (my friend) it quit pleased with how things are going. Most of the help( questions and what not) he has recieved is from Dave B, since he did the complete top end on this car. Unless you have ran this set up dont knock it. if you have, and have proof, be kind, let me know why its no good. The pursuit for the 10's is still on! thanx billy

Don't start a flame war...! Some people are natural born pricks on here. Just read it, ignore it, and move on. It's an internet forum, and you can't expect everyone to have something nice to say. :)

Relax dude, it's a 4g63 in a 2g. It has to be turbo, unless A)He took the turbo off, or B) He swapped in a 4G63 N/T out of a 1g (doubt it). It's just the angle of the shot.

But I was wondering. Where is the filter and the MAF? That is some funny intercooler piping for a FMIC. There isn't a GM Maft in the pic, so the stock MAF must be needed. and Is that a spray paint can lid above the motor mount on the timing belt side.?

he's running the aem setup so he can run it with a map sensor if he'd like all you'd need is a simple map sensor placed on the intake piping post bov and pre tb. i'm sure its in there if you look closely.

Ah yes, I see it now. Just didn't read anywhere about him using the AEM setup. Thanks. :thumb:
