Can you put 19's on a 1G? Has it ever been done?

Just wondering what is the absolute largest that would fit on a 1G DSM?
Some told me 18's and some said 19's would fit but with now lowering springs.

Also I was hoping anyone with a 1G and 18's on it would post a picture of their car. Thanks.

Check out my sig and my gallery, I have 18s on my car with 215/35 tires. The car is dropped 2" with Sprint springs. I have no clearance problems. I knew someone selling there 19s and 225/40 tires and we set them next to my car and it looks real close for clearance. We never tried mounting them, I wish we did though.

TSW 19" Stings on Nitto 225/35R19's. Car is lowered with Eibach Sportlines and I have no clearance problems (it handles ramps, etc. better than my buddy's 240SX and I have an Apex'i 3" turbo back exhaust to worry about).

She'll burn all four in the dry with a launch at 6500rpm/20 psi (boost, not tire pressure, LOL).

Very low profile, but just enough bling to make me smile :)
Check the link in my sig for more pics/information. Later!
