Hi!:D
I would like to recieve peoples opinion on Fockford Fosgate car audio.
I personally have had good experiences with RF, but it has been brought to my attention that new RF products are lower quality.

Opinions:confused:

I've been very happy with my amps. I think the amount of quality that you get for the dollar is unbeatable.

they're good, but their older stuff was better. before they went "commercial" by selling out to those big companies like best buy, they were built better, better components, solid performance, and very underrated. rf amps/subs are still better than sony, pioneer, kenwood, etc. etc....you know, best buy/circuit city stuff....

i use to run rf subs and amps....i got some of their newer stuff and had some problems with it tho. for me, i know i can find stuff just as good, if not much better than rf for the same price.

That's true...but as someone mentioned to me "brands don't last forever" or something like that ???? meaning a good brand will only last so long before another brand makes something better ???

rf stuff is very solid, imho it is one of the top 5 car audio components. Any company that produced an item like the Symmetry gains total respect from me.

I'm a big fan of RF amps, as the specs they post are RMS and not peak. They also send you actual tests of your amp and the max watts it puts out. For example: My 360A2, rated for 360 RMS, put out 548 Watts. Sound quality is also quite good, but they eat up a lot of juice. Get a cap.

what's the rest of the birthsheet say tho? like into how many channels at what ohms? rf tricks people with that one.
