ok guys check this out i love this hood and when i get the money i need after the body kit i put on my eclipse this is the second think i am getting i know the pic is for a 2000 and up eclipse but its made for the 1st gens!

thats one of the hoods i wanted to get! but they never made one for a 1 gen! if it actually fits, im ####in getting it now!. But what about the hump on the hood? is that taken out? does the invader hood have the hump on it???? hmmmmm

yeah i hate it when they don't put a pic of the generation the product is actually for... and yeah i would say that the hump was taken out cuz i have seen one for a 2nd gen one that was at a dealership that look nice as hell and the hump was out of it but still once u stick that thing on ur car u won't worry about it cuz u'll be drooling too much cuz i know i will be!

Looks like the hump would have to be taken out due to the design.

I REALLY want to see one of these on a 1G. It looks like a pretty nice hood.

I just ran a group buy for VIS Racing CF Hoods for both a 1g and a 2g. I had actually ordered a 1g Invader for my car, but they made a mistake and didn't have any in stock.

Instead of waiting, I went ahead an ordered the EVO Style hood for my 1g, which is the newest hood they have out for 1Gs. Anyway, here's a picture of the Invader on an actual 1G. Picture is a bit dark. Sorry. I have the larger version in my Imagestation account and the picture quality is better.

Does anyone have the CF EVO hood on the DOHC motor? I want to get the EVO hood but I'm afraid that it won't clear the cam gear cover. I was going to order it in the next few days but want to be sure it will fit before I drop $530 after shipping. Has anyone installed one on there car, and is it pretty easy to do? Do the factory bolt holes line up and is the CF hood pre-drilled?

I have the Evo hood sitting in my room, but I have yet to try and put it on. The quality looks very nice and it is predrilled for windshield washer nozzles. It retains the stock latch, but I'll be using hood pins anyway.

I'll be test fitting it pretty soon. I'll also get pictures soon.

Bummer they only make it for the 1GB and not the 1GA. Tjos hoods for the B models have been around for a while.

that sux they don't make them for the 1GA!! i mean those r fast and nice cars too!! they deserve a evo hood also!! i think i am gonna start making my own body kits for cars soon if me and my friend make r own business... and if we do we will distribute evo hoods for 1GAs ok?

Fxdesign.com has a ram air type hood also the make DSM body kit you should check them out
