so as a recnt turn f events i an get a VIS kit for just about wholesale price from the - if you want to know the story IM or PM me haha, but i can get it for 450+150 shipping, but on another form, people are talking about how VIS kits are not good and sit? i always thought they were one of the better companies out there etc??? what is everyones opinions and WHY? what is wrong with their kits, heir company etc etc.. thanks

People don't seem to like VIS because people think they can run carbon fiber hoods without hood pins.. Then VIS won't fix things that get broken (i.e. windshields, roofs, and hoods.) My personal experience is w/ their carbon fiber hoods, which are top quality, and fitment is great.. I don't know about their kits, but hoods are :thumb:

Im'a have to say the same thing. Although there are some people that have had problems with the latch coming off from the hood, but thats what they make hoodpins for. If your going to install such a light hood onto your car without something to "protect your investment" then its your mistake. :)

Call me crazy but if your buying a 300+ dollar hood then your going to buy a set of 20-30 dollar hoodpins to protect it right?

Exactly, anyone that runs a cf hood with hood pins is a moron.
