How to deal with body rust

There was a thread about body rust and it listed a type of paint or something that killed rust and prevented it from coming back. I tried looking for the thread, but couldn't find it. I remember the product had a weird name that seemed like three or four letters put together. Also, does anyone know how to get rust off the uniframe? Like acid dipping (or something like that)?

are you thinking of evapo rust? my dad bought that stuff to clean his rusty tools and it worked really well. no more rust. we saw it advertised on an infomercial and i went into a google searched and found it.

Ospho. This stuff will literally eat up the rust but then you need to clean the surface and paint it of undercoat it. Works very well
