rim size

i have a 95 GS, i 'm tjinking abou putting rims on it and was wondering what that steel thing behind the front wheels is and can it be removed or what don't flame me as i'm new to the DSM community. just want some info thanks guys your site is the best ever

called a control arm and no it can not be moved.

You'll have to be more specific.
Normally right behind the rim is the disk brake rotor and behind it is the rotor shield, then the suspension. None of these are things you want to remove.

What size rims are you looking at? What size do you have now?

well steve thanks for the sarastic reply, but i quess i kinda walked into itdidn't i I want 18's and i now have the original 16's
