What do i have to do to remore the spoiler on a 98 gsx? and how do i fix up the holes

take off the plastic panel on the end of your hatch lid. This should expose lots of little holes and such. find the three or so screws on each side that hold ur spoiler on. remove those screws. carefully pry spoiler off the hatch. its attacted to a foam-like gasket most likely. then put everything back together
for a quick fix on the holes use vinyl the color of your car. for a correct fix. take it to a body shop.
hope this helped

I just bought an Invader GTR spoiler for my 1995 Eclipse GST. How do i take off the stock spoiler and install my new one? The new one didn't come with any screws or anything. Just the spoiler and brake wires.

the two end peices of the wing are just screwed on. tak the two screws out of the sides, then remove the 3 screws that hold the bracket to the quarterpanel. once you take them off, then you can pull the plastic clip holders out of the metal on the quarters.. to do the center, you have to remove the plastic sheild on the trunk hatch, and you will find the screws in there that hold it on. once yo remove these screws, then you have to lightly pry up on the wing to break the factory rubber seal.
to fill the holes, you have a lot of choices, i chose to bang all the holes in and weld them shut and did the body work to fill them, and it looks great once you are done

you have to take it off under the hatch there should be 3 or 4 bolts that will take it off. after you take it off you have 2 choices for covering the holes. the easiest and most common is to take some bondo to it. fill the holes sand it down and repaint it. The other option you have is to get carbonfiber and resin and use that to cover the holes and from that its the same thing you sand and paint
