Dash Bulbs

I have seen some pictures where people have the stock speedometer installed but instead of the orange lights they have blue light in the back of the speedometer. I was wondering if anyone has done this or if it's just adding a blue bulb behind the speedometer to get this done.

I too am curious about this. I think the numbers have an orange film on them but im not sure. I want to do the same thing as you, stock gauges with blue back lighting. But something else I need to know is can I just change the bulb on my boost gauge to match or do I need to find a blue sleeve like the red and green ones that were included with the gauge (autometer)?

Any chain parts store. They're called bulb condoms.

yes and no....you can get blue sleves all day long but depending on your gauges...it will be kinda like a red purple. you have to remove the guage face and sand off the yellow backing on the guages with 400 gritt sandpaper and water , dont touch the front, after that whatever color lights you use will in return show the true color, i have used led's with resistors in blue, another trick sand the led with 220 to create a haze on it then it wil not have a bright spot on a part of your guage....
