Vacuum "t" and Boost Gauge Install Question

Hey everybody, where in the world can i get a metal "t" fitting to install a boost gauge. I searched three different local stores and they all looked at me funny as if they didn't know what I was after. The supplied hose from autometer on the gauge was extremely small. I finally managed to get it to work by using a plastic "t" and a rubber adapter. I noticed however that the plastic already wasn't holding up under the hood and neither was the rubber piece. Anyone know of anyplace ordinary or even out of the ordinary to get a metal/brass or another type of stronger material. Maybe Lowes/Home Depot or something like that. That's the only places that I didn't try. I searched all the local auto places.

The stock plastic hose supplied never made it onto the car. I went to the hardware store and picked up a 1/8" barbed fitting that fit the back of the guage, cut it shorter, and ran vacuum hose from the guage to the tee.

i just went and bought a plastic t fitting, and put the plastic hose with the gauge in the top with some sealant to make sure it was snug..
