for future car shopping refence are and body parts on a 1G expensive to replace? I heard from someone that these cars are Unibody cars....WTF does that mean?

It means the rear quarters, floor, firewall, roof, inner fender panels, and door sills are the frame. There's no body sitting on a separate frame, the body's it. It's a unit. Works good, if it's stiff enough, and DSMs for the most part are. But you don't want to try to move a phone pole with one, as fixing is often not possible.

does that mean the body parts like fenders and hoods are expensive to replace? If your roof is dented is that expensive too?
