Painting the bulbs complete front end!

Tonight i decided to paint the bulbs on my front end, all except the headlights. A total of 6 bulbs, I didnt have any translucent paint so, i thinned some blue model paint. I'm now waiting for them to dry so I can install them tomorrow morning. Anyone else ever done this, and the pro's vs con's?

wait a minute you actually remove your $14 dollar a piece (at the least) headlights, painted them blue with non-transparent paint, and are now waiting on them to dry so you can have that cool blue light right??

have fun not seeing where you're going and then buying replacement bulbs. oh and did i see you painted all 6 bulbs?? why'd you paint the turn signal bulb?? it's supposed to be orange.

Ok I'm a moron! I was bored and saw them on ebay and thought i would give it a try. Im keeping the head lights stock and I am now going to keep the turn signals orange. But the 4 marker lights, ima makem blue, and yes I need some transparent paint, this paints to thick i cant get nothing out ofem, enough of the flaming, i was just trying something i havent seen on the board.

On the other han cops will hate me ehh? If this is gonna get me pulled over constantly I will not put them in.

Stay away from changing the colors of marker lights, or any other color of lights in the front of your car.

if the markers are clear/white instead of the amber... is that alright

thats a good question, i changed out my markers for clear corners, no tickets yet.

yeah thats what i have.... i was thinking about getting some kind of "bright white" because the ones in there are almost a yellowish white

I used to have blue front turn signals in my 92 eclipse for about 3 monthes and I never had any trouble with cops. I had them in my Talon for about 2 and no probem with cops.I have amber front signal bulbs, SilverStar head lights, and clear corners with Piaa Whyper White bulbs.

my side markers and turn signal lenses in my headlights are clear but I have orange bulbs. Actually i smoked my sidemarkers but I think as long as it has an amber light its legal. I kind of like the look of orange lights actually.
