thetford mines,
I began a few weeks ago working on a new project of mine, the idea was to produce body kit for the old looking 1g talon and eclipse. Since i always thought that the eclipse 97-98...look was so nice i decided to make a bumper for the 1g inspired by the 2g eclipse. I have put a lot of time on this bumper since i began a few weeks ago and since i`m almost finish all i can say is that it looks awesome. Maybe my opinion will not be shared by all of you but anyway i personally like what i did so far. I will get a hand on a digital camera this weekend or the next and i will post pictures of it to show what i have done so far.

picture are coming.

hey I know, my bad! im sorry i don t have pictures yet but they are coming very very soon. All was done by myself with no help from anybody else. I havent done the plug yet and im still working on the front bumper. So far i putted something like 30-40 hours on the front bumper and im still working on it this evening. Since im doing this on my free time it take more times for me to do something nice. At the beginning i had a lot of idea for the bumper concept but a lot of them got shattered away when i finally got the bumper off and saw the frame under it. Since i didn t wanted the bumper to be closer to the ground because a bumper longer than the rest of the car is just plain ugly, i had no choices but to work the bumper himself to get new forms and a new appareance.

The center is pretty much like the 2g eclipse and the side too. The 2 pillar in the center has been modified. Im still thinking about doing some other things but i want to keep the same idea from the start until the end otherwise i think it will look like shit.

I don t know if i should keep it sobre with a agressive look or do something out of the ordinary and a little flashy. What your opinion?

What i did is that i took the old bumper off my talon and worked on it to do new forms and shape using bondo and fiberglass. Let me just say that sanding is a pain in the a-hole.

If the bumper comes out good i might put a few in production for people willing to have something different. But for now i will finish it and post pictures to have some opinion from you guys. if there is people good on photoshop that have good idea plz feel free to do so.

I dont know what else to say for now if you have other question just post them. I will have pictures of what i did so far this weekend or in 1 week. Just try to be patient :D
