"Eagle" emblem on rear center piece - remove?

The Eagle plastic emblem on the rear center piece of 90 - 91 Talon.

How is it attached? Just glued on? Anyone know for a FACT? Best way to remove it?

I don't want to break/scratch anything by "discovery process".

I've seen the last month's "DSM of the month" photo, the center piece had the emblem removed and it looked spotless.

it's glued on. i used fishing line and some "goo off" to peel the damn thing off.

What do you think about putting the whole thing in the oven for few minutes to soften things up?
