well, i had everything workin on my system when it decided not to turn on one day. So today i went threw a check and noticed that the fuse that is on the power cord was like melted on one side. That was the problem. So i replaced the fuse, but the cd player still didn't work. I think the fuse hold is shot and i need a new something. now, is that the problem, if so, the can i get a new fuse thing there, or do i need a whole new power cord? thanks

thats the problem, but now after re-reading that, my won't my cd player work, it has nothing to do with that power cord?

if none of that made sence, ill re word it

You can easily pick up a new fuse holder and replace it, but it doesn't sound like that's your problem. The power wire between the battery and amp has nothing to do with your cd player. You might want to check the cd player's actual wiring and fuses.

well, the fuse is fine in the cd player, and everything seems to be connected, screw sony, i might just have to buy a new one
