Cleaning it up a bit!

Well I am disgusted with being disguted when I pop my hood on my car. And I found that I had a huge hole in my valve cover so I figured I would invest in a nicely powdercoated cover from a local guy which is a friend. The color that I got was not my top choice but it was in stock and ready. I wanted red, but I had to deal with what he had in stock. I am really liking the color so I plan on getting my intake pipe coated to match. The color may look like it is a fairy blue but it is similar to the color of the blue talons. I.E.-L2rtsiawd's color. Here is a pic for your viewing pleasure, those in the powder coating business call it "mirror blue" I had the letter polished for extra bling.

I think the blue will be better than red on your silver car. Make sure you torque those bolts correctly.

Yeah that thing does more than jump out at you .... it pops out and slaps you in the face so you have to double check what the hell you just saw and then get blinded because it's so bright ....actually it looks like it would glow-in-the-dark.

J/P....But deffinitly the 1st time I've seen a color like that in one area under the hood, it will deffinitly get attention and yet again make them look at it twice....
