Tried a local shop 4 polishing

Well, on the way home from the 2nd NJ, PA, MD Ridley Creek meet, I had an injector go bad and lean out Cylinder 2. One melted exhaust valve later, then head is off the car and getting a complete rebuild and port job at TURBOTRIX. I took this down time to send out my valve cover to get it polished. I found a local polisher that offered to do the job for $75. What do you guys think?? BTW the first picture is what happens when you "RUN LEAN" with 14psi boost at 110 mph on stock 390cc fuel injectors. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be going to all the meets i can, as soon as the car is back together. I knew I was pushing my luck with the stock 390cc injectors. I just thought could make it a few more weeks till I got the 450's installed and bought a SAFC to tune it.. It's a good thing because now i'll have the entire top end done "right". All that will be left is to bullet proof the bottome end next yr with new rods, pistons and a polished crank.
