I have 2 Memphis 12s in my hatch and it rattles the plastic back there so bad. Its unbelievable how loose that stuff is. Does anyone have any solutions to stop the rattle. thanks

I know this from experience...rattle comes with the territory. You're not going to get rid of it, just lessen it...maybe. I've put 160 sq. ft. of dynomat in a car before and it still rattled in places. And dynomat isn't cheap, so if you're willing to spend some bucks on something that's not going to make a huge difference...go for it. A cheaper alternate route would be to use this stuff called "Great Stuff", it's expanding foam and you can find it in Home Depot for about $5 a can. Ultimatley, though, I believe you're just going to have to learn to live with it.

ok man, the foam works, but dynocrap is over rated and over priced go to www.fatmat.com . that stuff work better than dynomat. I've used it in my car and in my girl's jeep. The trick to any sound-deadening material is to use it right. i.e, you NEED to make sure it is smooth as possible, and some places will need more than one layer, there's no way around it. use the foam in small holes and other areas that are hard to reach. you can also use a heat gun to make the mats adhere properly. but whatever you do, don't waste your money on dynomat. you are only buying the name. you can do your whole car 3 or 4 time with fatmat before it costs what dynomat does..... just some food for thought, hope it saves you some money. good luck
