does anyone make anything besides a CF hood? im mainly interested in CF doors and a rear hatch. i would settle for glass, but i would rather CF for the weight difference. anyone make any other nice light weight parts?

Is the weight difference of a fiberglass and cf hood even that signifigant??? I would think maybe a 5lb. difference if that.

sweet, thanks guys. the hood is more then i thought, but the hatch is less, so it equals out.

johnny spyder:: glass weighs about 1/2 a normal metal panel, CF weighs half of glass when done correctly.

I posted this in another thread, someone should make it a sticky:

Relative weights:

1.00 Carbon Fiber = 1.50 Fiberglass = 1.67 Aluminum = 2.67 Titanium = 4.67 Steel

As you can see carbon fiber is nearly one fifth the weight of steel.
