any companies out there making a te37 style wheel? I have yet to see anything even close...

paying 400$ for a wheel that i am not in need of that much weight savings just cause i like the style of wheel = dumb.

The WHOLE POINT of getting TE37s is for weight savings.

Not necessarily. I love the way they look. I would buy them because they look good & they're Volks... not because they look good. I have a set of HRE 545 rims on my Prelude. I didn't get them to save weight, I got them because they look good and they're HREs. If I wanted to just save weight, I would go with something a little cheaper. Then again, this is just my 5 cents :thumb:

You prolly also shop at Abercrombie not because the clothes look good, but because they look good and their Abercrombies.

Label conscious people freak me out.

*looks down* whew, not wearing any today :thumb:

Another close knockoff is the Konig Rated R's. They look fairly close, but there are subtle differences. I had them on my civic and had alot of people ask me if I actually powdercoated a set of Volks yellow.
And I think it's Arospeed seels a wheel that actually looks exactly like a volk, but itstead of having the RAYS ENGINEERING stickers on the spokes it actually (and this is no lie) says ROYS ENGINEERING.

You know I meant weight :p

Good point, Bruiser. I personally don't like Abercrombie clothes, but I guess in my opinion, cars are much different to me. To me, performance isn't everything.

Then why not get something else all together

I don't see a problem with knockoffs, it's not like you're pretending you have TE37s(I hope anyway), it's just you like that style wheel, WTF is the big deal? I also don't have respect for people who think they're better than others because they have $2000+ set of wheels, whether they're as light as a feather or not, for the most part you're still just paying for a name.

Just my 50cent, n00gle.
