so let's say your sub box is built inside your car, fibreglassed to fit the hatch better, and it's sitting in there all snug, never gonna move. how do you access your fuel pump? has anybody experimented with a removable panel in the sub box, or what are you guys doin?

the fuel pump is under the rear seat. not the trunk so unless your planning on taking out the back seat and fiberglassing all acrossed it then nothing to be woried about.. if ofcourse you are planning on doing it all change your pump to a big one that you never have to change again or yer screwed.

uhmmm....my fuel pump is in the tank, under an access panel in the trunk...

If you mold it around the spare tire, then when you take the tire out the whole box can slide towards the passenger side to pull it out. How big of a box are you making?
I made two fiberglass boxes on either side of the spare in my 92 awd, they were for 8W1s though, so they were very small. I think .33 cu ft internal volume.
