I've heard of people doing this to not call the attention of cops and such, does anyone have any pics of this?

The cops might take a look, but seldom is a muffler the last thing done to a car- it's usually in company with wheels, stickers, lowering and tint. Once you've screamed "Hey, lookit me!" with that stuff, then they'll just listen. On a small sports car, in this world of Miatas, Hondas, Accords and Toyotas, if they can hear it across the street, it's illegal. And even if it isn't, they can still write you for it and count on you not making a trip to court over it.

Painting for camoflage would be a waste of time on an exhaust.

I agree, painting it to hide it is a waste...but if you're doing it because you like the color black or something like that...then go for it.

ive thought about doing this but it wont draw less attention from the cops, its hard to hide the sound of 3 inch catbacks

When I first got my car, a cop pulled me over and tried to cite me for STOCK EXHAUST. dont waste your time painting, everyone speaks the truth
