How to stop the dinging?

How to you stop the dinging when the door is open on a 97 Talon? This is when the keys is out. I saw something on Vfaq.com but I wasn't sure if it was my problem. Sometimes it does it and a few times it won't? Any comments?

I was looking that up too. That thing is annoying, especially when you are cleaning your car or something like that. I know it's coming somewhere by the pedals(learn that when installing my new pedals).

I saw how to do it somewhere, when I do, I'll let you know. It only happens when the key is in and the driver door is open on my car.

IF YOU UNSCREW THE DOOR JAME SENSOR IT CUTS THE CURCIT IT IS GROUNDED BY THE PHILLIS SCREW IT'S A LITTLE BLCK THING THAT LOOKS LIKE A BUTTON OPEN THE R DOOR THEN PUSH IT IN IF IT STOPS THE DINGING YOU'VE FOUND IT JUST UNSCREW IT OR YOU CAN TAKE IT OUT IF YOU WANT TO KEEP IT IN JUST UNSCREW IT TILL YOUR DONE AND PUT IT BACK IN AFTER BUT REMEBER YOU DID THIS CAUSE I BROKE MINE BY FORGETTING AND SHUTTING THE DOOR WHILE IT WAS HANGING OUT OF IT (DAMN REEFER)
