The rings have a Dual 4 inch Cold Cathode Kit, which barely fit in there (prolly could have done a better job if I cut off parts of the plastic and fitted the tubes in there securely... but electrical tape did the job =P )

Gauges are from http://www.procarparts.com

Uh.. wierd.. works for me.. right click one and try Show Picture maybe?

Hmm? You mean how's this work out driving at night? I can adjust the brightness of both the A/C lights, and the gauges, so when it feels distracting I dim everything... there is a stock brightness control for my dashboard lights, which controls the power supply to all the old yellow bulbs... where i also hooked up my cathode lights. So if i dim the yellow bulbs (which i took out) enough, the cathods can actually turn off. It works out pretty well... and then I have a little knob that came with my gauges to control their brightness.

The cold cathodes went behind your A/C controls??
Yes, it was a bi*** to make it fit though. When you open up your A/C cluster panel, there is a big clear plastic piece that sorta refracts light from the stock LEDs... I took that out, which leaves quite a bit of open space in there. Still, it's shaped really windy, and the cathodes are straight... so i took them out of the plastic enclousers they came with, so it's only the really thin piece of the light itself... then I used electrical tape to tape it right where the A/C controls have their icons etc... since I had two cathodes, i put em right next to each other so as to form a long line going across all 3 rings. I think the A/C control knobs brush against the lights when you twist them, but if you're careful, it won't break... also a little black box came with the cathode lights which are designed for computer case lighting... i sorta jammed that between my headunit and the A/C stuff... like i said, hack job =)

I have the other version of those gauges(almost the exact same but slightly different). But I took the dimmer switch, set it to max brightness and tucked it away with the wires because I didn't like how it looked and did not want it mounted anywhere. :D

Looks nice. :thumb:

ok ive been looking all over for talon tsi guages everywhere. the site had non-turbo but not for turbo. and sugestions on somewhere to find them???

Looks good man. What about the neglected fan controls and all the buttons along side the gauges? and the key ring??? i know im picky.

For turbo guages look on ebay. i got my for my 1g turbo on there for 32 bucks shipped. they are nicee gauges too.

www.procarparts.com has every type of 1g guage you need, but you are probably searching under Eagle Talon. Try searching under Mitsubishi Eclipse for a complete list of the 1g stuff they carry. Eclipse stuff will fit your car, too.

What happened to your needles? Can you see them at night with those guages? It looks like they don't light up anymore...

For turbo gauages, yea, like someone said... look either for '1g dsm' gauages in general... or on procarparts.com look for eclipse gauges not talon... i had the exact opposite problem, i could not find 1.8l 1g n/t gauges anywhere. Always had 1g turbo, gs, or 2g n/t... if procarparts doesn't suit you still tho, http://www.speedhut.com/ will make you very customized gauges, not just for a car model, but you get a shitload of options and little things to choose from for the actual design... but the price is like double/triple procarparts' price.

About my center cluster panel... the fan control would be really difficult to make it shine bright... i guess I could get maybe a seperate LED just behind the fan control, because the cathodes are exactly lined up behind the 3 other rings' icons.. and they wont even fit where th fan knob is... the keyring only shines like that cuz my trunk was open i think... either way, i think that's hard to replace really.. tho i didnt look into that much. the buttons, i heard the little AC button that you can press in half way or full, it's real easy to break. if i find one at a junk yard ill try it, otherwise #### it. the hazard lights... red isn't that bad =P also, if i dim down the little control on the side of steering wheel... how i said it dims the stock bulbs... well that makes the buttons nearly invisible, while the blue cathodes remain very bright even at real low power...

wholesalehyperformance.com has been like my best friend over the last 2 years. Ive gotten quite a bit off that site and reccomend it fully.

I see it now, looks awsome. I want to change my lights to blue also, but I have a 2g. good work man.

I second the where's the needles question. I bought very similar gauges to those. Cut off the old gauge faces. And replaced the old white led's to blue ones so that the odo will read blue and the ring around the gauges is blue. Looks tight but my needles are black as day. My parents say i have to do something about them. The problem is that blue doesnt reflect that orange needles so they dont glow. So what im going to do is remove the needles. Sand off the orange. And then paint the needle with reflective white on one side and then dark blue on the otherside so i can see the needles during the day. That was kinda confusing so i'll explain it. The needles are painted orange on the bottom side so the plastic ontop can difuse the light through it and make it glow. I will only paint on the underside too. so the needles will look like this: onesideoftheneedle
othersideoftheneedle

I have the same blue PCP guages. Here's what I did:

I put my new guages over top of my old ones. (You'll see why in a second.) I left all of the old guage lights in the back of the cluster except for one, which I removed so that I could route the overlay's wires. Now the reason I left the stock guage faces in is to keep the light from the stock bulbs from showing through at night. It works very well, because the EL guages light up blue, and the stock bulbs shine through to the needles so they light up orange.

It looks really nice, and the effects are actually similar to the neon guage rings found on www.importintelligence.com - the orange light shines through and makes a ring around the needle's base.

The only needle that is dim is the one near the bulb I removed. A cop even saw my guages two nights ago (I was supposedly loitering in a parking lot) and he said "looks nice," and left me alone!
