1G Front Seats (Sparco/Momo/Etc)

I just bought a really beat up 1G AWD TSI and I need to replace the Seats up front and Upholster the back ones. Any 1G owners that can recomend what I should buy? There are a ton of options on eBay but I am concerned that fitting will be an issue or quality. Any testimonials of what and where I should buy? If I am going with a Sparco knockoff I would prefer ones that do not have any embroidery so I can perform my own custom one. Please help.

PeacePersonally i just ordered a pair of racing seats from www.speedpeople.com They were 500$ for the pair plus it included two sliders for the seats, and free shipping. About the best deal i could find for some decent quality. I beleive they do have a little bit of embroidery where most seats do by the head area, but if you were going to have a custom embroidery done then you can have the previous stiching cut out and embroidered right over top of or have a peice of fabric inmaching color embroidered and sewn over top of the already existing name. Another option if you are interested is i have 2 sets os stock seats from parts cars i have been using. If you are looking for something stock i could help you out too. Which ones did you buy? My stock seats are rally bad.. and I was looking at having them Upholstered... but the recline mechanism is broken on the Drivers seat... so the seat is actually a rocking chair.

I would probably prefer to stick with Stock seats given that I am penalized by the SCCA if I swap out seats to racing seats.

well like i said i have 2 sets of front seats. All light gray, and light gray with black in the middle section with small bits of multiple colors.
