well the car should be painted within a week or two (hopefully) and i figure nothing will compliment the Ferrari Red paint better then some nice 1st gen Talon Wheels. My question is, will the aircraft stripper take all the clear of the Aluminum lip too? I want it all gone because its corroded over the years of tire weights and brake dust.

Any help would be appreciated, im doing the Duplicolor Graphite in the center and keepiung the lip, but wanna clear the whole thing again.

Yes it will work, it takes everything off the rims. I mean EVERYTHING!!!

Make sure you get a brillo pad and a couple pair of latex gloves. That shit burns bad when it gets onto your skin (thats no joke). Good Luck on the rim painting and if you got anymore questions just post back or pm me and i can give yah some information because i painted mine not long ago.

Yea i know. Trust me i learned it first hand when i was out there doing my rims and had on shorts and a shirt and no shoes. God that stuff tore my ass up! Burned for like 5 hours on my skin. Seriously tho, if you do it theres an FAQ on the web somewhere i completely forgot the link and im at work so i dont have it, but there is a link.

Could someone please post the link for him please?

Hey TurboBlue, I did mine the graphite color too and I love it. I used the Aircraft Stripper, But i taped off the lip so it wouldnt ruin the finish on the lip. I used a wire brush to get all the old paint/clear coat shit off. Worked very well. But I used 2G Talon wheels:thumb: Yours will look badass. Show pic's when your done.
