k so i got a 600 watt amp goin to a 12" sub in a bandpass box in my eclipse, and whenever i crank it up alot of rattling is goin on, and its nothing too bad but i'd like to ust get it to stop rattling so much, i know other people have this problem what have you done to get those panels to stop rattling?

Dynamat is very effective, but expensive. If you want, try a small thin bead of silicone on underside of panels, i did this in my other car, havent installed stereo in dsm yet so i havent gotten around to it. Give that a try if you wish, tell me how it worx out. Good luck.....:dsm:

Dynamat is most likely the best choice. Talk to a local audio shop for some installation hints and perhaps better material.

i don't wanna go with the dynamat because of the extra wieght, my stereo ads enough i don't want anymore :) i'll try to silicon bead around it and also i was thinking maybe a spray on rubber type thing so when the panels hit they aren't hitting metal but a softer surface, anyways, thanks for the suggestions

of course i'm worried about wieght in a NT, i don't got the power there to make up for it, so i gotta save every pound i can :)
