Body Mods!!!!!!!

i just wanted to guys to tell me what you think

i have a 96 gst
i did the 97+ conversion with projectors..

I am looking at keeping the 97+ front end and adding the low cut blitz side skirts and rear and adding importfans wingman carbon fiber wing .carbon fiber chin spoiler and carbon hood

or the whole sinki kit (think thats what its called) its the one with the 2 big ass fog lights

just wondering what would look better or kinda differnt

ps the spoiler isn't a huge rice wing it kinda like the stock 3 peice but flows more

why is not looking stock crap ass mods.. im allready pusing close to 400whp and that was my goal. i have my audio/visual system.. now all i am asking is what do you guys think would look better. i could give a shit if you think its crap.. i have my performance mods and i have my engine where i want it.. so if your going to talk shit.. go to another topic. i just wanted some imput.. but i guess you could talk shit about my squidskins carbon fiber hatch, fenders.. they are painted but i guess its garbage right?

I think either way would look ok....I believe you're talking about the "sensei" or "evo" kit.

And I'm curious about your claim of 400whp, that seems a little high to me considering your listed mods. Is that with nitrous? Have you actually had your car dynoed?

dude f*ck everyone in here who feels the need to flame everyone with a body kit. ive got 2 grand tied up in the exterior of my car and its still in primer. as far as im concerned anymore, as long as it makes you happy thats all that matters. personally, i dont see such great thrills about driving around in a car that looks compleatly stock. you could have 1000 hp sitting under the hood and its still not gonna turn the heads that shuwa29's car does. plus the booty that his car HAS to pick up would be worth the time and effort by itself.

doing what you want to do is what makes you a tuner. granted, my car is not the fastest nor the coolest or sickest, but it's what i like and it's what i want it to be. i've put money in it here and there on different parts. so all in time it will come together. but yes, like said before, "it's your car, do what makes you happy". enough said.

Shuwa, your car is awsome! Thats EXACTLY how i want my car to look. For now my car is stock (need money). Anyway, I agree with everyone who said that you should do what you want to a car. It's because of the damn honduh ricers that make some people think that if it doesn't have to do with making your car faster, its a waste of money, or its rice. So, n2orbit, I *think* I know what you described, and it looks pretty cool. BTW, nice job getting to 400whp. I would love to reach that goal one day .

actually i have a forced performance green now and the crower spring and retainer kit that should be here by monday with hks 264/272 cams.. 400whp was just a guess im sure im close to it. after that comes in im going to get the car dynoed. i have also added a 1st gen head with nitrate 1mm oversized valves, ported and 5 angle valve job. and upgraded lashers.. so im guessing 400whp.. right now the engine isn't even in my car i have everything out even the carpet ..

and Shuwaa thanks for posting the pics and you made up my mind for me... just couldn't place the stock bumper with side skirts in my head.. you car looks great thanks for all your help guys.. and for you guys that wanna diss.. whatever, my car will look good sound good, and last time i drove it it had a 14b and it was pretty quick.. now with my 50 trim, im sure its going to be a lil faster.... and diss even more i have a 76 porsche 930 turbo thats getting a zeemax body kit on it.. .. its german spec and its the 1st year interduced .

for you that don't know it looks just like a 911 but makes more power and the rear fenders are wider.. the body kit makes the rear 4 inches wider on each side

in that case there is one topic for non performance if you guys hate it and bash it so bad, why come in it???? perform better well performance isn't allways just a engine, my audio has been upgraded and the body will now.. i never said i wanted to put a airplane spoiler on the back of my car and try and hang glide off a cliff.. not everyone only uses there car as a drag car.. and i bet a ton of you have them lil clear corners.. so its all in what you like... i mean there are people who think you guys with them black lightweight wheels are ugly and look like your rollin on the rim that came with your spare tire..

The rest of this site is for PERFORMANCE. BUT, this section is for NON-PERFORMANCE related things. So, if you think all this stuff is rice or crap, then don't come to this section. Of course people are gonna talk about body kits, rims, spoilers, etc here. From what n2orbit has said, it seems that he has done a lot in the direction of performance. He should be able to ask people's opinions about a body kit without being flamed. Redwards, just because you have a car that looks good doesn't mean that it's rice.

see this is what we need more of... when i bought my eclipse i wanted more than a car that went fast. My eclipse isn't my daily driver but it sees its miles... i wanted my eclipse to have everything i wanted in a car.
