Hey,

My GS-T has blown speakers in both doors, I just bought two new ones, but I've never installed aftermarket speakers before. Each speaker came with wires with spades on one end (To connect to the speaker terminals) and nothing on the other. I imagine I'll have to use wire taps and T into the existing speaker harness, but how do I know which wire from the harness goes to which terminal on the speaker?

Thanks,
-Jacob

Normally the speaker wire with the stripe is the negative side. to answer your other question, Yes you will have to cut the stock wires and crimp the bare wires into the spade connectors. The install is simple, if the speakers dont sound right, just change the wires around.

hope this helps :thumb:
