Replacing Factory Wing!

I have a 97 Gs, and i purchased a turbo spoiler to replace the factory low spoiler that came on gs's. I went to a body shop to find out how much it would cost to fill in the hole(where the middle part is screwed into the hatch) and repaint it. The gave me an estimate of $325 for all labor and parts. My question is, is that a fair price for that kind of job?

Yes thats a good price, mine cost me about 475$

Well I just got mine done, and you are going to need more then just the center hole done. If you are replacing the existing low spoiler there are 20 + holes that need to be fixed. And when you say filled are you meaning bondo because you want them welded shut NOT bondo. Because bondo WILL crack and dimple in a very short time! but if they are welding all the holes shut and repainting that is a VERY good price but I would be take caution because that is a pretty low price for fixing all of those holes and repainting the whole rear.

that's pretty good, just make sure they are not going with a fake ass paint with a thin coat, cause that's my impression on what they are going to do. And solder that middle hole don't bondo it you want that thing done right. Otherwise, thats a good price.

Well the place I got the quote from is an auto body shop that i have gone through before. They garauntee their work for life, so i would imagine that they wouldnt use bondo if that wont last very long.
